Have you ever notice that if you feel good while at the computer ether for work or for fun, you tend to stay focused longer then if you had something bothering you. I have found that when i am in a padded seat and has a good back support I tend to be able to focus and stay at the computer more then if I have to get up because of the chair making me feel sore.
This is just one of the small aspects I have found that helps me be able to do my work faster and be able to work on it longer as needed. How many of you out there sitting in a cubical or office find that you feel sore and distracted while you work? If you keep sitting in that same hurting chair it will turn out to that it changes into a long lasting problem like having a bad back or hip problems. So go out and spend a little to make your day a whole lot better.

graphic design programs
While working in school you have access to many of the programs a designer will use over and over again. The only problem with using the programs is that they cost so much, and that makes some only able to work on the work while at school, or a workplace that has the programs. Like myself has no access to any of the software that is necessary for most of the work at hand. While only being in school for 3 nights a week it becomes hard to do some of the projects and tutorials and have them turned in on time.
If the software companies would lower the price of some of these programs it would help a lot of upcoming designers. In just the web design class it would cost a few hundred dollars for just the basic software programs to be able to design the web site. If anyone has any ideas on how to get programs that work for cheap please comment them.

connection to the internet
I learned that while being connected to the Internet on my video game there is two aspects to watch for performance quality. the two are latency(ms) and frame rate (fps). Latency is the time it takes for the user interface(UI) to talk to the server the game is working off on. the frame rate is the amount of frames seen per second. to play the game at a high speed with no lag it is good to have low latency and high frame rate.
This is also true with the size of the web pages that load on the Internet. the bigger the web page in KB. the longer it takes to load. and will run slower. This also taught me about the resolution of my computer has a affect on a lot of what i do.

web 2 class
During class one night the class found out that we had a Paul Blart twin in the day class. During the class last night i found out that no matter what age one person is they can act like a 5 year old.
It made me happy to see someone get back at him to make him realize he is acting like a little kid.
While we are learning to become a professional web designer, the class found a great example of what not to be. In all my classes I have taken so far that is the most I have learned in one class night.

Time management
One thing that my first class in web design has taught me is to be able to think and work quickly if there is a time issue. But most of the time one should use time management. There are three things that has helped me in controlling how long a project takes, they are: Take breaks to clear the mind if one is feeling overwhelmed or has brain block. Take time to learn techniques that you are having problems with so you can become more efficient at work. Don't worry be happy, Stress is your worst enemy.
One last thing I have learned in class I want people to know is that to become better is to practice and practice, and ask for help if needed.

HTML vs. CSS
HTML is the code for where you put the content shown in the web site. CSS is where all the invisible code is for the look of the web site. The tags are in the html that controls the visual hierarchy. These tags are h1,h2,h3,p,ul,ol,li.
Two other tags are used in the html code but are created in the css and they are div and class tags.
both the html and the css have to be within the same folder for the web site to be working. The css is connected into the html code in the heading section.
